Skills - Third Sector: Skills strategy consultation

Skills - Third Sector want to make sure that the importance of skills and learning are understood and supported effectively, so that the sector can meet the rising demands about what it can and should deliver and would like you contribute to the development a national skills strategy for the voluntary sector.

Skills - Third Sector will be publishing the consultation paper and will be launching a public consultation on 9 July. The online consultation will be available here from that date.

They will also publish The voluntary sector skills landscape: Why the voluntary sector needs skilled people and the challenges of the next three years that will provide a context for the national skills strategy. That will be available on 9 July too.

In addition they are holding a series of regional roundtable events to bring people together to talk about the skills needs in each of the nine English regions and to find examples of ways of delivering skills programmes that work well for you.
