Central London CVS Network will be hosting an information session from the Consumer Financial Education Body - ‘Making The Most of Your Money’ - at Voluntary Action Islington on 9 September and again on 13 September. Specially trained presenters will deliver a free hour-long seminar supported by a financial information pack for attendees to take away. You can be assured that the presenters are not permitted to sell any financial products or services.
We are pleased to announce four free seminars on key legal issues available to voluntary and community groups in Central London. Each 2 ½ hr session will cover one key issues for the VCS, including: contracts and trading, premises, employment and governance.

FREE training courses available to African community organisations working in London
The Association of Charity Independent Examiners (ACIE) are again running courses in charity accounting and independent examination in London in November 2010. The course ran earlier in May 2010 was well received by those CVS personnel who attended. The courses are at a level appropriate either for accountancy professionals new to the sector, or those with accumulated experience from working in charity finance.
